Avraham Friedman (stage name Fried) is perhaps the most popular Jewish musical entertainer. His music includes traditional Chassidic melodies as well as original compositions. His music is traditional yet modern, and tends to integrate many styles of popular music with Jewish lyrics and themes.

The Gates above I've read, and heard it said, that only certain niggunim have the inherent power to open certain Gates on High, in the Worlds above. Beautiful Chassidic niggunim, even Ha-Shem desires to hear some of the songs of His People. Am Yisroel Chai. Responder
Holy niggun!! There is a custom among many Chassidim to sing this niggun on the holiday of Succot while shaking the lulav in during the Hallel prayer. It is a holy moment. Responder
Rostover Nigun-Farbrengen Melody As I listen to several of these songs by Avraham Fried, I considered that perhaps we need to condition our souls before we get to the point of death, so as to enjoy being in the holiness of G-d with song while we are still living, since the euphoric transcendent state enabled by these melodies, brings us closer to our Father and which enables us to prosper in all matters of living life's fullest, G-d's destiny and gift to us together and individually as one family. The children of G-d in the wilderness began every battle with the singers and dancers before the Lord, who then followed with the priests bearing His tabernacle upon their shoulders.... Responder
