A menorá de Rabi Lazar nos lembra parte da história das pessoas que viviam em Crown Heights. Sua mitsvá secreta foi revelada depois de seu falecimento, quando as pessoas perceberam que todo o dinheiro que ele pedia era apenas para o propósito de tsedacá (caridade). Quando eu o conheci ele não tinha nem mesmo um par de sapatos que lhe servisse. No meu trabalho de arte, tento revelar o 'Pintele Yid' no nosso tempo.
